Participant Success Story

Roberto is a recent graduate of the National Grid Energy Infrastructure Academy. Prior to enrolling in the Academy, he was working at a lumber yard and looking for opportunities to develop a new set of marketable career skills.

Roberto has stated that enrolling in the program helped him immensely. He was able to get out of his shell, gain more confidence with networking, and expand his public speaking skills. In addition, he shared that he learned so much from his instructors and felt very supported by staff throughout his entire experience at CWS. He believes that enrolling in the Energy Infrastructure Academy helped to bring back his hope for the future and the possibility of finding a solid career instead of a dead-end job. We are pleased to share that Roberto recently accepted a position as a Meter Reader with National Grid.
