CWS Cleaning Crew
The CWS Cleaning Crew works at many different sites throughout the Boston area to ensure that these spaces are clean and well maintained. Our team of transitional client workers assists with a number of different cleaning and safety tasks at the Government Center Garage, and our partner there recently shared a message praising the hard work and dedication of the CWS team. "They were great. They did an awesome job. Very professional, as always."
Employee Spotlight
CWS is excited to welcome Rosane Batista as our new Program Coordinator - Workforce Development. Rosane has previously worked in the workforce education field, and we are extremely excited to have her on the team.
CWS AA Meeting
CWS continues to host an ongoing AA Meeting, and we welcome participants, staff members, and local community members to take part in this helpful resource for recovery support. The meeting is led by Jay Scott, a CWS graduate who has embraced this important role. CWS works with many individuals in recovery and hosting this meeting is another opportunity for us to provide support for the recovery population.
CWS Holiday Party
On December 14th, CWS hosted an annual holiday party, bringing together participants, staff, and volunteers for a delightful celebration. The event featured a sumptuous spread prepared by the Culinary Team, showcasing a delectable assortment of dishes, including pizza, pasta, turkey, ribs, salads, and an array of mouthwatering desserts. It was a joyous occasion enjoyed by all.
Community Mitigation Fund Event
CWS was recently invited to the 2024 Kickoff Event for the Community Mitigation Fund held at Encore Casino on November 14th. CWS Business Development Manager, Gregg Caplitz, and Workforce Development Instructor, Courtney Stewart, attended on behalf of CWS.
